Mike Hawkridge:

Mike started guiding in the Chilcotin Mountains over a decade ago and has been apart of the guiding and hunting industry since. Mike traveled to many different guide outfits within BC, working and gaining both knowledge and experience. Mike has remained very well connected to the hunting industry and keeps contacts throughout BC. Mike has had some great opportunities to guide some well known hunting celebrities, some of which he now calls friends. He is excited to now share his knowledge with new young guides. Mike has also grown up on the back of a horse, most winter months he can be found starting colts and working with troubled horses. Mike has trapped for about 6 years and is called on for “bear safety” patrol for missing persons, now and again. He is also an experienced farrier, taxidermist, and outdoor writer, all of which add to a long list of guiding credentials. He hopes his positive attitude and sense of humor will aid in sharing his message with young guides.
